Metrics for Sustainable Homes
Kindred Works sets targets and tracks progress towards more sustainable buildings by focusing on three factors: carbon emissions, energy use, and comfort levels. These factors are measured using key metrics: (1) greenhouse gas intensity (GHGI), (2) total energy use intensity (TEUI), and (3) thermal energy demand intensity (TEDI).

Kindred Works' Approach to Sustainable Homes
Kindred Works is creating homes that are healthier, more efficient, cost-effective, and resilient to a changing climate. Kindred Works leverages three proven strategies for constructing more efficient buildings that deliver improved outcomes for the planet: (1) all-electric buildings, (2) reduce energy demand, and (3) on-site energy production.
